There is no turning back.

Many stand
Gazing
Through the portal,
Powerless
to lift the mist,
Revealing reality,

For their world
Would change
As they now
Know it.

They spend a lifetime
Denying their soul;
Ignorant
Pretending
Not to see.

Is ignorance truly bliss?
