It is beauty that radiates,

it is timeless, so horrendously

majestic!  Creating life,

bio diversity found only in

the rainforest …

 

But will our greed, as a species

to consume, and burn, and burn out

our natural resources, be the very cause

of our own extinction?

 

One hundred years of humanity is all it

takes to destroy what was designed

 to last forever by our Mother Earth.

Our descendants will forgive us naught,

for they will never be born.

 

What of that sacred oath; we took so long

ago, to protect and nurture our home

in perfect harmony, in perfect love, in perfect trust?

Dare we desecrate such blessed wyrds for nothing

more than cheap profit, and the power to kill at will?

(without conscious). We become the abomination.
