My Gecko Lizard Warlock
A gecko named Mourlock
Gave me quite a shock
One early mourn through
my window he fell
His skin white
translucent and very pale
An inch in length was he
His tail was long and skinny
Body flat and wide
Legs to feet waddling stride
He jumped to see
me then he hid
Beneath a spoon
he then slid
My kitchen sink
became his lair
From which come hither
eyes did stare
‘Twas at that time
I sensed his name
A gift for me
would he remain?
Roaming Wild with
spirit untamed
For no
he was not to blame
Depart did he from
whence he came
Slithering through
the pouring rain
For his misadventure
Left me quite enraptured
Mourlock his claim to fame
Warlock
to my domain
Then said I
"Don’t be shy
Peace my friend
Please come again!"
And he did!
